Pls moms, I went to register for antenatal when I was around 3months in March. My intention was like we will see doc immediately but we just run some test and our test results was given to us without interpretation but appointment date which was May 7th that's roughly 2months interval, so on getting there on my appointment day, I was told that I have hypertises B according to the results of the test I did in March😭 now they didn't give me any medicine, I was told to go for another confirmatory test(which I'm still short of money to run). Dear moms, my questions now is that what is the danger of having HBV during preg? Is my baby safe? 😢 is it easy to cure? I'm first time mom to be and just got married don't know how this ungodly thing get to me.... Please moms I need advice I'm going crazy here😭😭

There is nothing to worry about ma. When u give birth they r going to give ur baby the vaccine before u put him or her to breast.ur baby is safe. Wen u give birth don't breast feed ur baby until they have given him or her the vaccine. I have seen some pregnant women with HIV and yet nothing happen to their baby after birth so just chillax cause if u r thinking that will affect ur baby more so free ur mind and hope for d best no negative thoughts

If you did all necessary tests before marriage, and you don't have such results then, I will advice you to go and run hepatitis B tests in another lab with a token of#1000 to confirm the results together with the one they told you in the hospital, and if paradventure you have it, don't be panic, but I will suggest you register for antinatal again in government hospital,so that it will be two places you are doing the antinatal for proper monitoring of you and your baby because that hospital that gave you two months interval before coming for check up during pregnancy can not be 100% reliaying upon.thanks

The hospital that's giving me 2 months interval is government hospital ooo, is Maternity teaching hospital sef🤒
