Is it possible to have two sacs in the womb at 6 weeks of pregnancy, only to find out that it's a single baby at 5 months?

Yes. It is called disappearing twin syndrome

Aisha plz am 8wks I just did scan and am see only one feotus instead of two. Is it possible fr two twins to be in one sac?

Flora , How did you get to know there was two?. Well if you have two them in same sac, you will have identical twins but in the case of two sacs they are fraternal twins. In other words non identical.
