Recovered from COVID-19 at 27 weeks of pregnancy. Transferred it home without medication. The therapist advised me to treat with folk remedies, and I did so as well. I feel good, my tests are also normal. However, the gynecologist was obliged to refer me for consultation with a hematologist due to the illness contracted. The hematologist now prescribed me injections in the abdomen (enoxaparin sodium) until delivery and 14 days after delivery, as preventive measure against blood clots. Has anyone else received this prescription? Is there really such a high risk of thrombosis after this disease?
