Who started introducing complementary foods at 4 months… what did you start with? How did you give it? How many days should you give the same thing, and how much? Can you tell more in detail?

You can start introducing solid foods from 4-6 months, depending on the child's development. If your baby is ready for solid foods, you can start with vegetable or fruit purees. For example, you can start with carrot puree. To make it, boil the carrots and then blend them in a blender or food grinder until smooth. In the first few days, you can give 1-2 teaspoons of puree after breastfeeding or formula feeding. Gradually increase the amount to 3-4 teaspoons. It's important to monitor the child's reaction to the new food. If they develop allergic reactions (rash, itching, etc.), you should stop giving that food and consult a doctor. Gradually, you can introduce other vegetables and fruits, and then cereals, meat, and other products. It's important to remember that solid foods should complement breastfeeding or formula feeding, not replace it. The amount and frequency of solid foods depend on the individual characteristics of the child, so it's best to consult with a pediatrician before starting solid foods.

Hello. We started at 5.5 months. First vegetables, then cereals, then meat, then fermented milk products. We gave one product for 2-3 days. Then we mixed them. We got tired of this feeding routine later. Always having to come up with something, wiping the floor, walls, and ceiling from cereal and other food. With the next child, I definitely won't start before 6 months.

Why so early? There's still time. Not before 6 months ideally. Of course, it's your decision, but I don't recommend it.

Isn't 4 months a bit early? My girls only started showing interest in food around 9 months. I started introducing solids gently at 6 months, just a spoonful at a time. But they weren't really keen on eating and wouldn't open their mouths, or they would even spit it out. If you do decide to start introducing solids, begin with vegetables (broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, etc.), because if you start with fruits, most children then don't want to eat their vegetables later on.

I think it's too early; even with five of us, we don't cover everything.

I started introducing solids at 4 months, if the child showed interest in food and their digestive system was ready (you can tell by whether they experience colic, bloating, etc. after starting solids). I gave them approved vegetables (usually labeled on jars in the store). Some might criticize me, but I didn't stick to giving just a third of a teaspoon; I gave up to two teaspoons if they were eating well. The reaction, if any, would be the same whether from half a teaspoon or two. Over time, I began cooking myself, preparing a week's worth of portions to freeze, so I could easily cook the vegetables I was introducing. I introduced a new vegetable every two or three days, first individually and then mixed together. But this was my experience and was done under medical supervision.

We started introducing solids around 4.5 months, once there was an interest in food and ensuring that the belly was okay by then. We began with zucchini. Following this schedule: 1st day - 1 tsp, 2nd day - 2 tsp, 3rd day - 4 tsp, 4th day - 8 tsp. Then we introduced the next food item using the same schedule. Our order was: - Zucchini - Carrot - Corn - Broccoli - Cauliflower - Pumpkin Then we introduced cereals: - Oatmeal - Corn cereal - Buckwheat cereal Next came fruits: - Apple - Prunes - Peach - Banana We tried introducing blueberries in jars at 5.5 months, but it didn't suit us, so we stopped giving berries until 8 months. Now at 6 months, we are starting to introduce dairy cereals and meat.
