Good afternoon, mommies! I want to introduce formula to my daughter so I can freely go out for a couple of hours sometimes, like to a salon or to my son's school event. Until now, she has been exclusively breastfed. My daughter has a sensitive stomach and is allergic to cow's milk protein. Which formula would be better to choose? I'm considering Kabrita 1. I didn't feed my son formula before. I would appreciate any life hacks and advice ?????? please help ??????

Good day! If your daughter is allergic to cow's milk, it is indeed better to choose a formula based on goat's milk, such as Kabrita 1. Goat's milk is usually easier to digest and less likely to cause allergic reactions. When introducing the formula, it is recommended to do so gradually, starting with small portions and gradually increasing the dose. Also, monitor the child's body reaction to promptly notice any negative manifestations. Also, pay attention to the composition of the formula, make sure it contains all the necessary nutrients for the child. And, of course, do not forget to consult with a doctor before introducing a new product into the child's diet. I wish you luck and hope that your daughter will easily accept the new formula! ????

Why introduce a mixture, especially given the intolerance issue (by the way, how did you identify it, interestingly, if the child is exclusively breastfed)? After all, it's easier to pump and leave whenever and for however long you want just the same.

Kabrita, although it was goat's milk, still caused a reaction after 3 days. It turns out allergies can be cumulative; it's not necessary for the reaction to occur shortly after exposure. We ended up in the hospital with swelling and hives.

I don't know if it's an allergy or not, but since we started introducing solid foods, I noticed that my son reacted to egg whites, walnuts, berries like raspberries and strawberries, and to Amiran children's yogurt. Just one spoonful was enough to have my son taken away in an ambulance for hormone treatments, enemas, etc. Now my son is 2 years old, he eats everything calmly, and I give him eggs, milk, and all fruits and berries. We went to an allergist when he was 1.5 years old and they said he had parasites and prescribed treatment. I mean, at the age of your daughter, it's unlikely to be parasites although they can also be transmitted through bedding.

Why don't you want to pump milk? There are special bags sold for this, you can freeze it, and when needed, take it out) and you're on a walk and your daughter is fed and allergy-free)

Try a partial hydrolysate first, like Nutrilon Hypo, but it's better to just express milk in such a case. Kabrita formula is good, but I wouldn't feed goat milk on a permanent basis.

I expressed and froze the milk. It can be stored in the freezer for six months. But from the age of 3 months, she absolutely refused to drink it from a bottle with us. She waited for me. Although, in such a case, you can also feed with a spoon.
