Hello everyone, please share how you finished breastfeeding and how to reduce lactation. Are there perhaps any foods that decrease milk supply?

Chamomile, mint, and sage help to stop the production of the hormone prolactin; you can brew and alternate them for drinking. This is probably the most gentle method.

Weaning from breastfeeding is an individual process that depends on many factors, including the desire of both the mother and child, as well as their health and psychological state. If you have decided to stop breastfeeding, it is important to do so gradually to avoid discomfort and potential problems with the mammary glands. If you want to reduce lactation, the following may help: 1. Drink more fluids to decrease milk production. 2. Avoid breast stimulation, including frequent breastfeeding and expressing milk. 3. Wear a comfortable bra that does not compress the breasts. 4. Avoid foods that stimulate milk production, such as oats, flaxseed, and green tea. 5. Consult a doctor or a breastfeeding consultant for additional advice and support. Remember that every body is unique, and what works for one woman may not work for another. It is important to listen to your body and discuss your decisions with qualified professionals.
