Hello, moms. My son has always had a good appetite, but it has decreased over the past month. He might eat only once or at most twice a day, sometimes just snacking on apples, kefir, or meat. He's not teething right now, nothing hurts, and he's lively and active. His portion size has decreased, and he has stopped eating soups altogether, which has really shocked me. He will be two years old in March. Can anyone advise what to do? Am I just overreacting?

Good afternoon! Your concern is completely understandable, but there's no need to panic right away. It is possible that your son is simply going through a period where his appetite has decreased due to development or other factors. It's important to ensure that he is getting enough nutrients, even if he is eating less than usual. Offer him a variety of nutritious foods, encourage him to eat, but do not force him if he does not want to. If you still have serious concerns, consult a doctor for advice.
