Hello everyone. What did you use to treat a cough during breastfeeding? It's very bothersome. The phlegm isn't coming out at all. The cough wakes up the child. I'm doing inhalations, taking Rengalin, and having a bit of Mukaltin.

Hello! Coughing while breastfeeding can be caused by various reasons, so it is important to consult a doctor for an accurate diagnosis and treatment recommendations. However, in addition to inhalations and taking medications, you can try the following methods: - Drink more warm fluids, such as tea with honey or lemon, to moisturize the throat's mucous membrane. - Avoid irritants such as smoke, dust, or cold air. - Use natural remedies, such as honey with coconut oil or warm milk with honey. - Ventilate the room and maintain optimal air humidity. - Help your child sleep in an upright position to improve mucus clearance. Remember, self-treatment can be dangerous, so always consult a doctor before starting any treatment. Take care of yourself and your child!

I gargle with salt and baking soda every 2-3 hours, wrap my throat with a scarf, drink tea with raspberry/lemon, and at night I can have warm milk with some butter added. Of course, wearing warm socks helps too. ? I try to minimize the use of medications.

Try holding half a glass of warm water and 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in your mouth for 5 minutes. Drink warm beverages. Use a humidifier.
