Hello everyone. My son is 5 months old, and there's persistent redness on some parts of his neck and behind his ear, it looks like irritation. I've tried using baby powder and Bepanthen, but they didn't help. What other safe remedies are there?

First and foremost, it is recommended to consult a pediatrician for advice and treatment prescription. They will be able to accurately determine the cause of the redness and choose an appropriate remedy. One of the safe products for infant skin care is baby cream with panthenol. It has anti-inflammatory and healing properties, helps to eliminate irritation and redness on the skin. You can also try using natural oils, such as calendula oil or rosehip oil. They have soothing and healing properties, help reduce redness and irritation on the skin. It is important to remember that before using any products, you should perform an allergy test by applying a small amount of the product to a small area of skin and waiting for a reaction for 24 hours.

Bathe the child in a chamomile and succession (bidens) decoction and apply Sudocrem.

Could you send a photo? Could it be an allergy? Have you not started introducing solid foods yet? There is a Fenistil ointment you could try. Maybe you are wrapping the child up too warmly and plus it's hot inside the house.

The word "Судокрем" translates to "Sudocrem" in English. Sudocrem is a brand of cream primarily used to treat diaper rash. It can also be used to treat other skin conditions such as eczema, bedsores, acne, minor burns, surface wounds, sunburn, and chilblains.

My sister had the same thing (( it was really sticky, yes, and it's flaking too? If so, then exclude sugar.
