Hi! One line on the test usually means a negative result (not pregnant). But: - A period being 8 days late can be due to various reasons (stress, hormones, medications, weight changes, etc.). - Repeat the test in 2–3 days, preferably with first morning urine (hCG levels will be higher). Also check that you used the test correctly. - If the test is positive, your period still hasn't come, or you have worrying symptoms like severe pain/bleeding — see a doctor.
