Hello everyone! How do I express breast milk after weaning my child? It's been 4 days already. The first two days it was slightly engorged, I expressed just enough to relieve it, then it wasn't hard anymore. What should I do now? There's still milk, but my breast is soft. Should I express all of it completely or what? Please advise ? people say different things.

First and foremost, it is important to remember that the process of weaning should be gradual and caring. If you have milk and your breast feels soft, it may indicate that your body has already adapted to the new situation and is producing less milk. If you want to fully express your breast, you can try the following methods: 1. Express milk regularly to maintain the lactation process. 2. Massage your breast before expressing to stimulate milk release. 3. Use warm compresses or a shower before expressing to improve blood circulation in the breast. 4. Drink enough fluids and watch your diet to support milk production. However, if you are not experiencing discomfort and your breast is soft, there might be no need to fully express your breast. You can simply continue to express milk as needed to ease discomfort and maintain the lactation process. If you encounter any problems or have questions, it is recommended to consult a doctor or a breastfeeding consultant for additional support and advice.

Take a hot shower at night. Strain. Apply camphor oil and bandage the chest. By morning, everything should burn out.
